Swim Lessons

Cancellations:  If it is raining heavily or if there is lightning//thunder during your scheduled time, the lesson is canceled for that time slot.  Otherwise, lessons will be held.

2013 Schedule

 The Patrol offers Swimming Lessons during the summer months at six different Geneva Lake locations. The program follows the guidelines of the American Red Cross, and offers instruction for all skill levels from Pre-Beginner through Advanced Swimmer and Lifeguard Training.

Registration will be held Friday, June 14 thru Thursday, June 20  ONLY DURING THE HOURS SHOWN BELOW (under "Registration Dates and Hours")

 All lessons are 30-minutes in length.  Choose a time slot from the "Tentative Schedule" below:

 Cost:

• Twice-per-week program - $40.00 (for the entire summer program!)
  
• Once-per-week program - $30.00 (for the entire summer program!).
  

Registration Dates and Hours

Please register in person at our Headquarters located on Aurora University's George Williams College Campus. Registration will begin Friday, June 14th and go through Thursday, June 20th during the following hours:

Friday, June 14: 9:30am to 12 noon
Saturday, June 15: 9:30am to 12 noon.
Sunday, June 16: 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm
Monday, June 17: 9:30am to 12 noon  OR 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Tuesday, June 18: 9:30am to 12 noon
Wed., June 19: 9:30am to 12:00 noon OR 5:00pm to 6:00pm                                                     Thursday, June 20:  9:30am to 12:00 noon.

Instructors will be on hand to take registration during the above dates and times. Please come ONLY during the hours listed.

Lessons begin June 21 and end August 9. Participants can choose from a twice-a-week program or a once-per-week program (Fridays only). Please note that there will be NO LESSONS on Thursday, July 4, 2013.

 

LIFEGUARD TRAINING:  We will offer a Red Cross Lifeguard Class beginning (dates TBA).  The class will meet at our Headquarters from (times TBA), and the cost is $175.  Students must be at least 15 years old and be strong swimmers with a responsible, professional attitude.  Please register during the Swim Lesson Registration times (above).
